The 2024 Greenway Arts Festival is welcoming applications from both Adult and Junior fine artists. This year marks the 20th annual Greenway Art Festival for artists aged 18 and over, and the 2nd annual Junior Greenway Art Festival for artists under 18. The deadline for applications has been extended through August 15.
The festivals are organized by the Cultural Arts division of the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department and will take place along the Greenway trail within Old Fort Park on Saturday, September 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This year’s event aims to feature a diverse selection of artwork created by local artists, providing a platform for artists of all ages within the community to showcase and sell their creations. All potential exhibitors are required to submit their art for a judging process before acceptance.

The Greenway Art Festival for artists aged 18 and over is a juried show. Artist selection will be based on criteria including subject matter, overall quality, originality, and presentation. All original fine art is eligible for submission, encompassing various forms such as printmaking, bookbinding, fiber art, painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture.
