2024 Chattanooga Tourism Summit to Promote Industry Growth

The 2024 Chattanooga Tourism Summit will unite industry leaders to discuss the future of tourism.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Aug. 21, 2024) – Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Chattanooga Tourism Summit, scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 8 am at the Chattanooga Convention Center. This year’s summit, themed ‘It Starts With a Visit,’ will feature a keynote panel discussion on the vital role tourism plays in the community, providing attendees with practical knowledge, forward-looking strategies, and actionable insights to enhance their industry impact.

The keynote panel will include three distinguished leaders in the tourism industry:

– **John David**, President and CEO of Sports Events & Tourism Association (Sports ETA), will offer his extensive experience from the sports tourism sector. Known for his innovative leadership at USA BMX, John will provide valuable perspectives on capitalizing on sports events in tourism.

– **Laura Libby**, President of Destination Marketing at Miles Partnership, brings nearly 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and client relationship management. Her insights will help attendees enhance their marketing efforts and foster stronger client relationships.

– **Zeek Coleman**, Vice President, Americas at Tourism Economics, is recognized for his expertise in translating complex data into actionable insights. Zeek will share his knowledge on the future of travel analytics and its impact on tourism.

The summit will also feature insights from CEO Barry White, a Chef’s Table breakfast, an exhibitor showcase, live local entertainment, and post-summit professional development sessions.
