WTCI PBS is hiring a Manager of Donor Services to support donor relations and fundraising.

WTCI, The Greater Chattanooga Public Television Corporation, is currently seeking to fill the position of Manager of Donor Services.

At WTCI PBS, the mission of providing quality media to every family in the Tennessee Valley has been paramount for the past 50 years. The organization aims to cater to people of all ages and interests, offering educational content, cultural experiences, and artistic performances. WTCI PBS is now looking to add a Manager of Donor Services to its team. This role, under the supervision of the Director of Development, will communicate the value of WTCI PBS to donors, foundations, and corporate partners in the Tennessee Valley.

The Manager of Donor Services will assist in growing, maintaining, and servicing WTCI’s donor base. Responsibilities include managing the donor database, providing data reports, and reconciling with the business office as needed. The role also involves implementing strategies to maintain connections with members and donors, developing positive relationships, supporting the Development team, and assisting with special events.

Key responsibilities include:

– Upkeep of the Customer Management System (Allegiance)

– Daily entry of payments

– Managing address and payment information

– Creating donor-giving reports

– CRM reconciliation with the business office

– Initiating outreach systems

– Importing new emails into Constant Contact

– Donor Correspondence and Support

– Handling member/donor correspondence

– Providing effective customer service

– Ensuring timely distribution of thank-you gifts

– Contacting members/donors regarding declined and expired credit cards

– Serving as the primary contact person for sustaining members

Additionally, the Manager of Donor Services will manage call center contact during pledge campaigns, set up databases for programs and pledge breaks, and update online forms for tracking pledges. The role also involves supporting the Development team with member renewal and acquisition, planning and executing fundraising events, and representing WTCI at station events.

Qualifications and experience for this position include:

– A preferred four-year college degree with at least two years of relevant experience

– Excellent customer service and database management skills

– Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication abilities

This is a full-time exempt position with a salary of $50,000. Benefits include 401(k), dental, health, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid time off.
