The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced that all lane closure activities on interstates and state highways will be suspended for the Fourth of July holiday travel period. Construction crews will halt lane closures starting at noon on Wednesday, July 3, and resume work at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8.
### District 47
**Carroll County**
– **SR-22**: Resurfacing from the Henderson County Line to near Weatherford Rd. will cause temporary lane closures.
– **SR-77**: Resurfacing from near McLemoresville Road to the SR-22 Bypass in Huntingdon will cause temporary lane closures.
**Dyer County**
– **SR-20**: Bridge repair on US 412 (SR 20) over the North Fork Forked Deer River will limit traffic to one lane in each direction with a 12′ lane restriction and 5′ shoulder. Speed is reduced to 55 MPH starting April 10, 2023.
– **SR-181**: Resurfacing from SR 104 to the Lake County Line will cause temporary lane closures.
– **SR-104**: Resurfacing from Chic Road to SR 181 will cause temporary lane closures.
– **SR-181**: Resurfacing from Lauderdale County Line to SR 104 will cause temporary lane closures.
**Gibson/Carroll County**
– **SR-76 (US-79)**: Construction activities will cause temporary lane closures and road detours.
**Henry/Weakley County**
– **SR-22**: Resurfacing with HOT IN-PLACE RECYCLING from Carroll County Line to SR 217 will cause temporary lane closures.
**Obion County**
– **Future I-69 (Phase 3)**: SR 690 is open to traffic. Speed limits are reduced to 45 mph in the southbound lanes. Crews will continue working on closed ramps.
**Weakley County**
– **SR-445**: Resurfacing and safety improvements will cause temporary lane closures.
– **SR-431**: Safety improvements on Skyhawk Parkway will cause temporary lane closures.
### District 48
**Crockett County**
– **US-412 (SR-20)**: Resurfacing with hot-in-place recycling will cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times.
**Haywood County**
– **I-40 from MM 60 to 67**: Resurfacing work will cause nightly lane closures from July 8 through July 17, and again from July 17 through July 24.
– **SR 179**: Resurfacing will cause temporary lane closures. One lane will remain open at all times.
– **SR 222**: Inside lane closures both north and southbound will be in effect from June 24 through August 5.
### District 49
**Fayette County**
– **SR-196**: Daily resurfacing will cause temporary lane closures managed by flagger operations.
**Lauderdale County**
– **US-51 (SR-3) at Curve-Nankipoo Rd.**: Intersection improvement will cause lane closures. Speed is reduced to 55 MPH.
– **US-51 (SR-3) from Tipton County Line to SR-19**: Resurfacing will cause temporary lane closures. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.
– **US-51 (SR-3) from SR-88 to Dyer County Line**: Resurfacing will cause temporary lane closures.
– **SR-19 from US-51 (SR-3) to Near Eastland Avenue**: Resurfacing will cause temporary lane closures.
**Shelby County**
– **I-40**: Nightly lane closures for resurfacing from near the Wolf River (MM 11.2) to near Sycamore View Road (MM 12.6).
– **SR-3**: Nightly lane closures from Babe Howard Blvd. to Tipton County Line for resurfacing.
– **SR-14 (Austin Peay Highway)**: Widening work will cause shoulder and temporary lane closures.
– **I-240 at Exit 23 (Airways Blvd)**: Temporary lane closures until August 1, 2024, for safety improvements.
– **I-240 from LM 5.00 to LM 8.00**: Left lane closure from July 10 through July 12 for cable barrier rail installation.
– **I-55/Crump**: Various lane and road closures with an 11′ width restriction.
– **SR-57 (Poplar Ave.)**: Nightly lane closures for resurfacing.
– **SR-175 (Shelby Drive)**: Nightly lane closures for resurfacing and safety improvements.
– **Shady Grove Rd. Bridge**: Closure for bridge repairs until August 30th.
– **SR-23 (Walnut Grove Rd.)**: Nightly lane closures for resurfacing.
**Tipton County**
– **US-51 (SR-3) at Kenwood Avenue**: Daily lane closures for safety improvements.

**Shelby County**
– **SR-177 (Germantown Road)**: Long-term lane closures for widening and intersection improvements.
