The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced potential daytime and nighttime lane closures at various locations across Region 4 from July 24-31, 2024. These closures are to facilitate repairs and new installations as needed across 21 counties in the region.
### District 47
#### Carroll County
– **SR-22**: Resurfacing from the Henderson County Line to near Weatherford Rd. will result in temporary lane closures.
– **SR-77**: Resurfacing from near McLemoresville Road to the SR22 Bypass in Huntingdon will also cause temporary lane closures.
#### Benton County
– **I-40**: Resurfacing from S.R. 69 to the Humphreys County line will cause temporary lane closures.
#### Dyer County
– **SR-20**: Bridge repairs on US 412 over the North Fork Forked Deer River will involve temporary lane closures. Starting April 10, 2023, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12-foot lane restriction, 5-foot shoulder, and a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH.
#### Gibson/Carroll County
– **SR-76 (US-79)**: Construction activities including grading, drainage, and paving from west of Cades-Atwood Road to east of SR 77 will result in temporary lane closures. Barker Road is permanently closed with detours in place.
#### Henry/Weakley County
– **SR-22**: Resurfacing with HOT IN-PLACE RECYCLING from the Carroll County Line to SR 217 will cause temporary lane closures.
#### Obion County
– **Future I-69 (Phase 3)**: SR 690 (Future I-69) is open to traffic with a reduced speed limit of 45 mph in the southbound lanes. Work continues on closed ramps.
#### Weakley County
– **SR-445**: Safety improvements and resurfacing from the Gibson County Line to near Losson Puckett Road will cause temporary lane closures.
### District 48
#### Crockett County
– **US-412 (SR-20)**: Resurfacing with hot-in-place recycling from Birmingham/Lyons Road to US-79 will cause temporary lane closures, with one lane remaining open at all times.
#### Gibson and Crockett County
– **SR-152**: Resurfacing including bridge repairs from US 412 to US 70A will cause temporary lane closures, with one lane remaining open at all times.
#### Haywood County
– **I-40**: Nightly resurfacing from MM 60 to 67 will cause lane closures from July 24 to August 7.
– **SR 179**: Resurfacing with Full-Depth Reclamation from US70 to SR76 will cause temporary lane closures, with one lane remaining open at all times.
– **SR 222**: Lane closures both north and southbound from June 24 to August 5 for safety improvements.
### District 49
#### Lauderdale County
– **US-51 (SR-3)**: Resurfacing from SR-88 to the Dyer County Line, and from the Tipton County Line to SR-19, will cause temporary lane closures with one lane open in each direction.
– **SR-19**: Resurfacing work from US-51 to Near Eastland Avenue will cause temporary lane closures.
### Shelby County
– **I-40**: Nightly lane closures from the Wolf River to Sycamore View Road for resurfacing.
– **I-40 Hernando Desoto Bridge**: Temporary lane closures for ITS maintenance on July 25.
– **I-55 at Exit 7**: Lane closures for coring activities from July 29 to August 7.
– **SR-3**: Nightly resurfacing from Babe Howard Blvd. to the Tipton County line.
– **SR-14**: Widening from Kerrville-Rosemark Rd. to the Tipton County Line will cause intermittent lane closures and detours.
– **I-240 at Exit 23**: Ongoing lane closures for safety improvements and drainage installation until August 1, 2024.
– **I-55/Crump**: An 11-foot width restriction and various traffic pattern changes are in effect.
– **SR-57 (Poplar Ave.)**: Daily catchbasin adjustments and nightly striping operations with lane closures.
– **SR-23 (Walnut Grove Rd)**: Nightly lane closures for resurfacing from Poplar Ave. to I-240.
– **SR-385**: Nightly pavement crack sealing from Ridgeway Road to Byhalia Road.
### Tipton County
– **US-51 (SR-3)**: Daily lane closures at Kenwood Avenue for safety improvements, with one lane open in each direction.

– **SR-177 (Germantown Road)**: Long-term lane closures for widening and intersection improvements.
