Tickets for the 2024 Middle Tennessee Highland Games & Celtic Festival are now on sale.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tickets for the Middle Tennessee Highland Games & Celtic Festival, scheduled for Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8, are now available for purchase. The festival offers family-friendly entertainment with Single-Day General Admission tickets priced at $20 for adults and $7 for children aged 6-12 when bought by Sunday, September 1. Ticket prices will increase to $25 for adults and $10 for children starting Monday, September 2. Children aged 5 and under can attend for free. Weekend passes are also available, costing $35 for adults and $12 for children aged 6-12.

For those seeking a premium experience, VIP tickets are offered at $90 for a single day and $170 for the weekend. VIP ticket holders will have access to the Patron Tent, which includes a private viewing area for athletic events, catered lunch, a private cash bar, unlimited water, and a commemorative festival pin. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended to ensure quick and easy entry into the festival.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment.

Festival-goers can enjoy traditional Celtic food and drinks, as well as offerings from popular local food trucks. The event will feature a Celtic Market with unique vendors showcasing cultural items and gifts. Additionally, there will be two Scotch Tasting events on Saturday, September 7 at 11 am and 1 pm, featuring six tastings from brands such as Glennfiddich, Grant’s Blended Scotch Whisky, The Balvenie, and Monkey Shoulder. Tickets for each tasting event are priced at $50 and can be purchased here.

The annual festival aims to bring families together to learn about and celebrate Scottish and Celtic traditions through various educational, social, and athletic activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Celtic history and connect with representatives from over 60 Scottish family clans.

The festival will host Scottish Highland athletic competitions, including events such as the Stone Put, Caber Toss, Hammer Throw, Sheaf Toss, and Weight Throws. Spectators are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to support the athletes.

Music will play a significant role in the festival, with performances from solo piping, drumming, and pipe band competitions, as well as national touring bands and local artists. Acts scheduled to perform include Tuatha Dea, Doon the Brae, The Secret Commonwealth, Clare Cunningham, Colin Grant-Adams, Kris Colt, The Sternwheelers, Nosey Flynn, and The American Rogues. Bagpipe and drum bands will roam the festival grounds and participate in mass band gatherings each day.

This year’s festival will also feature a sanctioned Highland Dance Competition on Saturday, September 7, sponsored by the Oliphant Clan & Family Association of North America. Children can enjoy a cultural activity area with mini Celtic games, crafts, storytime, quidditch, and archery. Kids can collect passport stamps at the Family Clans Village throughout the weekend to receive a medal.
