The Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration will host the Tennessee Artificial Intelligence (AI) Advisory Council’s public meeting on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. The AI Advisory Council aims to provide a collaborative source of knowledge, expertise, and information sharing to advance the state’s use of AI technologies in an ethical, adaptable, collaborative, and beneficial manner for all Tennesseans.
The Council is co-chaired by Jim Bryson, Commissioner of the Department of Finance and Administration, and Stephanie Dedmon, the State Chief Information Officer.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. CST at the William R. Snodgrass Tennessee Tower, 3rd Floor, Nashville Room, located at 312 Rosa L. Parks Avenue, Nashville, TN 37243.
Members of the public who wish to address the AI Advisory Council in person must submit a request in writing to Roger Waynick via email at Roger.Waynick@tn.gov by noon CST on August 1, 2024. Comments will be limited to three minutes per person.

Free Webinar on 2024 Legislative Tax Updates
The Department of Revenue will host a free webinar on July 30 at 9 am Central time to discuss updates from the 2024 legislative session, focusing on recent tax-related legislative changes.
