Suspected Serial Burglar Arrested in Nashville

Davi Reynolds Jr. arrested on charges of theft and assault.

An investigation by West Precinct detectives has led to the arrest of Davi Reynolds Jr., a 47-year-old suspected of being a serial burglar. Reynolds faces charges of theft of merchandise and assault in connection to a shoplifting incident on June 29 at Burlington, located at 8141 Sawyer Brown Road.

During the incident, Reynolds allegedly drove a woman to the store in his blue Honda SUV. The woman then filled a shopping cart with approximately $1,500 worth of merchandise and exited through an emergency door without paying. When a witness attempted to photograph Reynolds as he assisted the woman in loading the stolen goods into his vehicle, he reportedly threatened to run the witness over.

Reynolds was free on a $25,000 bond at the time of his arrest, following a previous charge for burglarizing the Flower Mart by Sunrise at 4503 Harding Pike on June 29. His bond for the latest charges has been set at $20,000.
