The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) is actively monitoring the safety and condition of River Trace, located off State Route 12. This involves periodic site visits and ongoing efforts to identify effective solutions for any identified risks.
NDOT is collaborating with Geotech Consultants to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the geologic conditions that may pose risks. This analysis will provide critical data to determine the best remediation methods. The consultants are expected to deliver more detailed analytical information to NDOT Project Leads by July 19, 2024. With this data, NDOT will evaluate various remediation construction methodologies alongside experienced contractors to decide on the appropriate means, timeframes, and associated costs for the necessary interventions.
NDOT will keep the property owners of River Trace and the local Council Member informed as the project progresses.
Residents are encouraged to report any concerning conditions they encounter. Reports should be directed to Metro’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM), which operates around the clock. OEM can be contacted via email at [email protected] or by phone at 615-862-8530. This is the quickest way to notify NDOT of any required actions.
NDOT appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as they work towards implementing the best corrective measures.
