Homicide detectives are requesting the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a man who may have information regarding the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Jawaun Cleo Jones on Antioch Pike. The incident occurred on Saturday night in the 1600 block of Antioch Pike.

The individual, captured in the linked photographs, was recorded jumping over a business fence near the scene after the shooting. At this point, he is wanted for questioning only.
Jones was riding a skateboard shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday when he was approached by three individuals. A physical confrontation ensued, during which Jones dropped a pistol. One of the individuals retrieved the pistol and shot Jones.

Memphis Man Killed in Parking Lot Shooting
A 23-year-old Memphis man named London Montgomery was fatally shot late Sunday night in a parking lot on Hamilton Crossings Road while in a stolen Mercedes SUV. The suspects fled the scene in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and authorities are seeking information from the public.
