Pizza City Fest Nashville to Feature 40 Pizzerias at First Horizon Park

Pizza City Fest Nashville will host 40 pizzerias at First Horizon Park on October 19-20, 2024.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Pizza City Fest is excited to announce that Early Bird tickets are now available for Pizza City Fest Nashville, set to take place on October 19 and 20, 2024, at First Horizon Park in Downtown Nashville. This two-day event will offer pizza enthusiasts an exceptional opportunity to sample a diverse array of pizzas from the region’s top pizzerias.

Attendees can enjoy unlimited pizza from premier pizza artisans, all in one central location. The event will celebrate the unique pizza landscape of the Southeastern U.S., showcasing the talents of pizza makers from cities such as St. Louis, Birmingham, Louisville, and Memphis. Commercial Marra Forni electric ovens will be set up along the Warning Track at the ball field, allowing pizza makers to bake live throughout the event.

The festival is curated by Emmy and 13-time James Beard Award-winning food reporter Steve Dolinsky. In addition to the extensive list of participating pizzerias, the event will feature chefs, authors, and experts who will share their knowledge and passion for pizza through panel discussions and demonstrations.

“We’re thrilled to be in Nashville for our fifth Pizza City Fest!” said Steve Dolinsky. “The pizza scene in the Southeast continues to heat up, and we’ve curated a diverse lineup of notable pizzas to showcase various styles, including Detroit, Chicago deep-dish, tavern style, Sicilian, Neapolitan, and Roman. Every pizza at the event will be baked and served straight from the oven.”

New to this year’s festival, given its Nashville location, will be live bands each day at 4 p.m., as well as performances by pizza acrobat Luigi Primo.

The official charitable partner for Pizza City Fest Nashville is The Nashville Food Project, a community food initiative that promotes urban agriculture, meal preparation, and food sharing. They will handle recycling and composting of leftover ingredients after each day of the festival.
