The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club, in coordination with Minor League Baseball, has unveiled its 2025 home schedule. The schedule includes 75 games to be played at First Horizon Park during the 2025 season. The opening game is set for Friday, March 28, against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, and marks the first time since 2023 that the Sounds will have Opening Day at home. This three-game series will be the earliest Opening Day in the club’s 47-year history.
“We still have 30 fun-filled games to host this season through September,” said Sounds General Manager Adam English. “Our staff is already in the early stages of planning a thrilling slate of promotions and entertainment for our fans in 2025.”
The home schedule consists of 12 homestands. From May 20-25, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders will visit Nashville, marking their first appearance since 1991. The Sounds were previously the Double-A affiliate of the Yankees from 1980 to 1984.
Several major league affiliates are scheduled to play in Nashville throughout 2025. The Memphis Redbirds will visit for series from April 8-13 and July 1-3. The Gwinnett Stripers will come twice, from June 3-8 and September 3-14, while Louisville will play a six-game series from August 19-24. Other returning opponents include the Durham Bulls, Norfolk Tides, Iowa Cubs, Indianapolis Indians, and Charlotte Knights. The Omaha Storm Chasers and St. Paul Saints, who played in Nashville in 2024, will not return in 2025.
The longest homestand of the season spans 12 games over 13 days from August 19-31. There will also be a nine-game homestand following the All-Star break from July 18-27. The Sounds will be at home for Mother’s Day on May 11, Memorial Day weekend on May 24-25, and Labor Day weekend on August 30-31.
First Horizon Park will host 39 weekend games in 2025, including 13 games on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Game times will be announced at a later date.
Early bird season ticket renewals for 2025 will be available starting Monday, August 5, with options for full-season (75 games), half-season (38 games), and four different partial-season (18 games) memberships. The full 2025 promotional schedule will be released by early March 2025, and individual game tickets will go on sale at least one month before the season starts.
The Nashville Sounds are the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers and play their home games at First Horizon Park. For more information, call 615-690-4487 or e-mail tickets@nashvillesounds.com.
