Nashville Ballet Announces Tickets for “Nashville’s Nutcracker

Tickets for Nashville's Nutcracker are now available for the holiday season.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – [Nashville Ballet](https://www.nashvilleballet.com/) announces that tickets are now on sale for Paul Vasterling’s [Nashville’s Nutcracker](https://www.nashvilleballet.com/nashvilles-nutcracker), returning to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Jackson Hall this holiday season. The performances will begin on Friday, Dec. 6 and run through Thursday, Dec. 26.

Tickets for this highly anticipated event sell out quickly each year, so patrons are encouraged to secure their tickets as soon as possible. Prices for single tickets start at $45.

Paul Vasterling’s [Nashville’s Nutcracker](https://www.nashvilleballet.com/nashvilles-nutcracker) offers a reimagined take on the classic tale, featuring live music by The Nashville Symphony. The production showcases Nashville Ballet company dancers, NB2 (Nashville Ballet’s Second Company), youth students from the School of [Nashville Ballet](https://www.nashvilleballet.com/), and select community partners.

Artistic Director and CEO Nick Mullikin expressed pride in continuing this cherished production. “This dynamic performance of dance will feature our company dancers, along with students from School of [Nashville Ballet](https://www.nashvilleballet.com/), that will surely dazzle audiences this Christmas,” Mullikin said.

Originally choreographed by Artistic Director Emeritus Paul Vasterling, the performance integrates elements of Nashville’s history and culture into the classic Christmas story. Audiences can look forward to the enchanting scenes of the Sugar Plum Fairy’s kingdom, the Mouse King’s battle, and Clara’s adventure with her Nutcracker Prince.

[Nashville’s Nutcracker](https://www.nashvilleballet.com/nashvilles-nutcracker) has been recognized with a 2020 Emmy Award-winning film and was named the best Dance Production of 2022 by Broadway World Nashville. This year’s production will again feature students from the School of [Nashville Ballet](https://www.nashvilleballet.com/) and, for the first time since 2019, members of the community. Auditions for community participants will be held on Sunday, Aug. 25, and Sunday, Sept. 8 at the Martin Center for [Nashville Ballet](https://www.nashvilleballet.com/). Parthenon to Host Kumiko Woodwork Exhibition

The Parthenon in Nashville will showcase “David Gootnick: Contemporary Kumiko,” an exhibition featuring intricate woodwork inspired by the ancient Japanese technique of Kumiko, from July 26 to December 1, with a free opening reception on July 25.
