Candidates for the Murfreesboro City Council recently participated in a forum to introduce themselves and respond to questions in a timed format. The event was hosted by the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Murfreesboro/Rutherford County, the Middle Tennessee Lawyers’ Association for Women (MTLAW), and the Rutherford County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority (DST). The forum was televised by Murfreesboro CityTV.
The participating candidates were Matt Herriman, Kelly Northcutt, Bill Shacklett, Kirt Wade, and Shawn Wright.
