The man fatally shot early today inside a car at Whispering Oaks Apartments, located at 100 Tanglewood Court off Harding Place, has been identified as Marcus D. Martin, 41.
The investigation indicates that Martin was returning to his girlfriend’s apartment before sunrise when shots were fired into the Nissan Altima sedan he was driving. The vehicle subsequently impacted a tree and came to rest in the driveway of the parking lot. A resident reported the crashed car at 7:50 a.m.
