A grand jury has issued an indictment charging Donyae Wroten, 22, with first-degree murder for the fatal shooting of Terran Frazier, 44, which occurred in October 2023 on Phillips Street.
The investigation revealed that Wroten had planned to rob Frazier due to a previous dispute. Following the incident, Wroten fled the state and is currently incarcerated in Louisiana for a parole violation and a drug offense. Authorities have confirmed that Wroten will be returned to Nashville to face charges once his sentence in Louisiana is complete.
