Detectives Seek Suspect in June 7 Shooting

Police are searching for a suspect involved in a June 7 shooting outside a Nashville Walmart.

Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division are working to identify the suspect involved in a shooting incident that occurred on the night of June 7. The event took place outside the Walmart located at Nolensville Pike and Harding Mall Drive.

The altercation began inside the store between the suspect and a male victim and escalated into the parking lot. During the confrontation, the suspect drew a firearm, chased the victim, and fired shots, striking the victim non-critically in the arm.

Authorities have released images of the suspect in an effort to gather information on his identity. Anyone with information about the shooter is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.

Driver Arrested After Fatal Hit and Run

Sterling L. Jenkins, 43, was arrested and charged after a fatal hit and run incident that killed pedestrian Gregory Torrance Sr., 65, in Nashville; Jenkins faces multiple charges and is currently free on a $12,000 bond.
