Chattanooga Tourism Co., in collaboration with the State of Tennessee, is set to unveil a new multi-day music festival in Chattanooga. The event aims to enrich the city’s cultural landscape and drive economic growth over the next three years. The announcement will take place on Monday, July 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Miller Plaza Stage, located at 850 Market Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402.
Speakers at the unveiling event will include Barry White, President and CEO of Chattanooga Tourism Co.; Donna Elle Harrison, Director of Cultural Tourism, Chattanooga Tourism Co.; Commissioner Mark Ezell from the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development; Representative Patsy Hazlewood from Tennessee House District 27; Senator Bo Watson from Tennessee Senate District 11; Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp; Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly; Jonathan Susman from SoundCorps; and representatives from leading festival organizations. A Music Hall of Fame inductee will also make remarks. The event will feature live music and provide details on the festival’s anticipated economic and cultural impacts.

The 14th annual Ijams Hummingbird Festival, themed “A Celebration of Wings,” will take place on August 17, 2024, featuring educational activities, a marketplace, and bird banding demonstrations.
