Charges are expected following a fatal crash involving a Nissan Altima on I-24 West.

Charges are anticipated following a crash early Sunday morning on I-24 West at Briley Parkway that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old woman from Jackson. Taylor, who was wearing her seatbelt, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the Nissan, Tareeq Harris, 24, also from Jackson, was transported to Vanderbilt with critical injuries. Evidence of impairment was found at the scene.
