Bethel University is extending a special tuition discount to employees of the City of Murfreesboro who enroll in its online degree programs. To qualify for this benefit, employees must meet the admissions requirements for their chosen program. The discounted tuition rates are exclusive of any other discounts offered by the university, such as those for military personnel, first responders, or public service workers.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, the published tuition rates are as follows:
– Undergraduate degrees: $299 per credit hour (Standard Rate: $361)
– Graduate criminal justice tuition: $499 per credit hour (Standard Rate: $541)
– Graduate business tuition: $539 per credit hour (Standard Rate: $650)
Additionally, Bethel University will waive the application fee for City employees applying to its online degree programs. The university will work in partnership with the City to disseminate information about these educational benefits and degree program options. This will be achieved through various methods, including:
– Emails to employees with program details and links to relevant website content
– Scheduled opportunities for interested individuals to speak with a University enrollment counselor
– Other promotional materials such as webinars, newsletter information, brochures, and posters
If the agreement between Bethel University and the City of Murfreesboro expires, City employees currently enrolled in a Bethel University online degree program will continue to receive the agreed-upon tuition rates until the end of their enrollment.
