Gay Street Bridge Closed for Safety Repairs
The Gay Street Bridge in Knoxville has been closed for safety repairs following a routine inspection by the Tennessee Department of Transportation. The City and TDOT are working together to assess the necessary repairs and duration of the closure, prioritizing public safety. The closure will not affect tonight’s downtown parade, which has been relocated.
