NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sushi Hospitality, known for its omakase-style speakeasies with years-long waitlists, will open in Nashville on July 18. Operated by Adept Hospitality, this will be the fifth Sushi | Bar location, following Austin, Miami, Chicago, and Dallas. Located inside the new Golden Sound cocktail lounge at 610 Magazine Street in The Gulch, the restaurant offers a distinctive dining experience.
Sushi | Bar will provide a unique, 2-hour dining experience reminiscent of an intimate dinner party. The restaurant features two sushi bar rooms, each accommodating 12 guests per seating, with a 17-course tasting menu. With only three seatings per night, patrons will enjoy a front-row view of three top-tier sushi chefs preparing fresh fish, sourced weekly from Japan. The menu, consisting entirely of nigiri, will change seasonally. Diners can also opt for sake pairings, with a sommelier available to recommend additional beverage options.

Golden Sound, the cocktail lounge adjacent to Sushi | Bar, has a separate entrance for those who wish to enjoy drinks either before or after their meal. The bar will feature premium spirits and expertly crafted cocktails, including sub-zero martinis and highballs, without requiring reservations.

The restaurant’s design, by Nashville-based Remick Architecture, pays homage to its history as a recording studio. Golden Sound’s decor is inspired by the 1960s music scene, featuring intimate corners and a large, social bar. Inside Sushi | Bar, natural materials, muted colors, and intentional lighting create a harmonious atmosphere, focusing attention on the menu.
Reservations, available via Tock, are required for Sushi | Bar. Initially open Wednesday to Sunday, the restaurant offers three seatings per night at 5:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. The omakase experience starts at $165 per person, with premium beverage options and an extensive sake list available. Guests are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes early for a complimentary welcome cocktail.
