Slim + Husky’s Pizza Partners with Diskin Cider

Slim + Husky’s Pizza collaborates with Diskin Cider for a kitchen takeover in Nashville.

NASHVILLE, TN (June 24, 2024) – Slim + Husky’s Pizza has teamed up with Diskin Cider, Nashville’s first and only craft cidery, for a kitchen takeover inside Diskin’s Wedgewood Houston tasting room. Diskin customers began enjoying the pizzeria’s offerings during its mid-June soft opening. The Slim + Husky’s Diskin menu features eight popular signature pizzas, new wing flavors, two signature salads, stuffed cheesy bread, and cinnamon rolls. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available.

“We have wanted to work with Slim + Husky’s for some time and we are ecstatic that we can finally work together to do something really cool,” said Todd Evans, Co-Founder of Diskin Cider.

Slim + Husky’s Pizza has been expanding its craft beverage options, collaborating with Diskin on “So Icy” cider release parties at middle Tennessee locations, followed by the June kitchen takeover announcement.

“Our team has wanted to open in the Wedgewood Houston area for several years. The opportunity to collab with Diskin gives us an immediate ability to serve the WeHo community alongside another brand that values its neighbors,” said Slim + Husky’s Co-Founder Clint Gray.

The official kitchen takeover launches Thursday, June 27, followed by a celebration during the summer release party of Diskin’s new “Cherry Bomb” cider. The kitchen will operate during Diskin’s hours and will eventually feature a streetside takeout window.
