Two middle school students apprehended after stealing a teacher's SUV.

Two 12-year-old students from Two Rivers Middle School have been taken into custody by Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers after stealing a teacher’s SUV. The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. today.

The seventh graders noticed that the teacher had left the key to her 2024 Honda CRV on her desk. They took the key and were seen driving out of the school parking lot at 2:50 p.m. The parents of one of the students tracked their son’s iPad along I-40 west, which led the Tennessee Highway Patrol to find the stolen vehicle just off exit 152 at Bucksnort.
