On Saturday, June 8th, MTSU will host the Murfreesboro Recycling Roundup, providing an opportunity for community members to recycle items such as old clothing, tires, toner cartridges, and mattresses. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MTSU Rutherford Parking Lot, located at 602 N. Rutherford Blvd.
Accepted items for recycling include:
Latest TN News
– Clothing and textiles (excluding carpet, rugs, or pillows)
– Ink cartridges and toner
– Flattened cardboard
– Electronics
– Scrap metal
– Pet supplies
– Styrofoam blocks
– Glass (food and beverage)
– Paper for secure shredding
– Small batteries
– Tires (up to 8, with a $1 charge for each additional tire)
– Mattresses (limit of two per vehicle; a $10 charge for each additional mattress)
