Public Hearing on Ballad Health COPA Compliance

Tennessee Department of Health to hold a public hearing on Ballad Health’s COPA compliance on July 18, 2024.

The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) has scheduled a public hearing to address Ballad Health’s compliance with the Certificate of Public Advantage (COPA). This hearing will take place on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EDT at the Northeast State Community College Performing Arts Center, located at 2425 Highway 75 in Blountville.

The event will feature a formal process for public comments. Those interested in providing input can sign up online at tn.gov/health/health-program-areas/health-planning/certificate-of-public-advantage.html until 5:00 p.m. EDT on July 17, 2024. On-site registration will also be available for those who did not sign up online, and these individuals will be called to speak after those who registered online.

Each speaker will have three minutes to share their remarks. Written comments are also welcome and can be submitted at the hearing. For those unable to attend, comments can be sent via email to tn.health@tn.gov or by mail to the Tennessee Department of Health – COPA, 710 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, TN 37243.

Tennessee Board of Regents Approves Tuition Hikes
