Nashville Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Shoplifting Suspect

Authorities request assistance in identifying a shoplifting suspect involved in multiple incidents.

East Precinct detectives are currently seeking the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in multiple shoplifting incidents at a Dollar General store on Gallatin Pike in Nashville. The suspect has been linked to at least two incidents within the past month.

During a shoplifting event on June 6th, the suspect was caught on camera stealing cases of beer. When the store manager attempted to intervene, the suspect threatened to shoot the manager if they did not return to the store. Images of the suspect have been released by the authorities.

Anyone who recognizes the individual is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. As part of an ongoing initiative to address organized retail crime, there have been 367 related arrests since March 20th, resulting in 169 felony charges and 626 misdemeanor charges.

Arrest Made in April Carjacking and Shooting

Ontario Graham, 23, has been arrested for an armed carjacking and shooting at a McDonald’s on Nolensville Pike on April 17. Graham faces multiple felony charges, including attempted murder, and is held on a $283,500 bond. The incident began when Graham allegedly tried to carjack a man in the drive-thru, shooting him in the face; he then carjacked a woman before fleeing in her vehicle.
