Motorcyclist Succumbs to Injuries from Myatt Drive Collision

A motorcyclist injured in a Friday collision on Myatt Drive has died.

A motorcyclist critically injured in a collision on Friday evening has died. The accident occurred in the 600 block of Myatt Drive. The victim, identified as Case Isenhart, 27, of Christiana, Tennessee, passed away at Skyline Medical Center on Saturday.

According to the investigation, Isenhart was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Myatt Drive when a Honda Accord exited InTown Suites and entered the motorcycle’s lane. The motorcycle collided with the side of the Honda.

The 24-year-old driver of the Honda sustained non-critical injuries. Authorities reported no signs of impairment from either driver. The investigation is still ongoing.

Man Fatally Struck by Train in Nashville

A 55-year-old man was struck and killed by a CSX freight train in East Nashville on Saturday night, with MNPD chaplains working to notify his family. The train, traveling at 30 mph, could not stop in time after the engineer saw the man lying on the tracks. There are no signs of foul play, and the investigation into why the victim was on the tracks continues.
