Man Arrested for April Carjacking and Shooting

Ontario Graham was arrested for an April 17 carjacking and shooting incident in a Nolensville Pike restaurant parking lot.

Ontario Graham, 23, of Dew Street, has been arrested in connection with an armed carjacking and shooting that occurred on the night of April 17 at the McDonald’s restaurant located at 2212 Nolensville Pike. Graham faces multiple felony charges, including attempted murder, carjacking, attempted carjacking, aggravated assault, and gun crimes. He is currently held on a $283,500 bond.

The incident began around 10:30 p.m. when Graham allegedly approached a 41-year-old man in the drive-thru line and attempted to carjack him. As the victim tried to escape, he was shot once in the face. In a panic, the victim circled the parking lot three times and saw Graham confronting a woman in her car. Believing the woman to be in danger, the victim drove his vehicle into Graham, causing significant damage to a Nissan Cube. Graham then forced the woman out of the Cube and fled in the vehicle. The woman was not injured, and the first victim was taken to Vanderbilt for treatment.

The Nissan Cube was recovered the next day on Louise Drive. Graham was apprehended on S. 6th Street and Shelby Avenue while riding a stolen electric bicycle. He attempted to flee but was captured by East Precinct officers on the outstanding warrants.
