LEBANON, Tenn. – The Big Machine Music City Grand Prix will make a return to Nashville Superspeedway in 2025, serving as the NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship race for the second consecutive year, as announced by INDYCAR. This event is part of a new media rights deal that significantly boosts exposure for the series, with every 2025 race airing on FOX and available on the FOX Sports app. Additionally, FOX Deportes will provide exclusive Spanish-language coverage, with the schedule to be announced later.
The 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season will begin with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 2 and will conclude with the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix on August 31. This follows a period of growth for INDYCAR, reflected in increased attendance, expanded commercial partnerships, and record digital engagement.

This year’s Big Machine Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway is scheduled for September 15 at 2 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock. The 2024 season finale will crown the NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion, marking the first time in a decade that an oval track will host the championship-deciding race.
Nashville Superspeedway, a 1.33-mile D-shaped oval, has a storied history with INDYCAR, dating back to its inaugural season in 2001. The track has seen notable victories, including a commanding “three-peat” by six-time INDYCAR SERIES champion Scott Dixon from 2006 to 2008.
