Tennessee Highway Patrol Enhances Memorial Day Patrols
The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) will increase patrols and implement various traffic safety measures to reduce crashes during the Memorial Day holiday from May 24 to May 28, 2024. This initiative follows a previous Memorial Day weekend that saw 12 fatal crashes and 13 deaths. The THP aims to focus on distracted driving, speeding, impaired driving, and seat belt compliance to ensure road safety.
