The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced potential daytime and nighttime lane closures at various locations across 21 counties in Region 4, owing to repair and installation projects.
### District 47
**Dyer County**
1. **SR-20**: The bridge repair on US 412 over North Fork Forked Deer River will cause temporary lane closures. Starting April 10, 2023, traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction, with a lane restriction of 12 feet and a shoulder width of 5 feet. The speed limit is reduced to 55 MPH.
2. **SR-181**: Resurfacing from SR 104 to Lake County Line will result in temporary lane closures.
3. **SR-104**: Resurfacing from Chic Road to SR 181 will lead to temporary lane closures.
4. **SR-181**: Resurfacing from Lauderdale County Line to SR 104 will cause temporary lane closures.
**Gibson/Carroll County**
– **SR-76 (US-79)**: Construction including grading, drainage, and paving from west of Cades-Atwood Road in Gibson County to east of SR 77 in Carroll County will cause lane closures. Barker Road is permanently closed, with detours via Church St. until Jax Road reopens.
**Obion County**
– **Future I-69 (Phase 3)**: SR 690 is now open. Speed limits are reduced to 45 MPH in the southbound lanes as work continues on closed ramps.
### District 48
**Crockett County**
– **US-412 (SR-20)**: Resurfacing from Birmingham/Lyons Road to US-79 will cause lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open.
**Haywood County**
1. **SR 179**: Resurfacing from US70 to SR76 will result in lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open.
2. **SR 222**: Lane closures from March 25 to June 24 will occur both north and southbound from 1600′ north of Stanton Somerville RD to the Haywood County Fire Station entrance.
**Henderson and Decatur Counties**
– **I-40 from MM95 to MM126**: Rolling lane closures on May 23 from 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for pothole patching.
**Madison County**
1. **SR5 (US45)**: Temporary lane closures from May 28 through May 30 for crack sealing operations.
2. **US412 (SR20/Parkway)**: Lane closures at various locations to repair damaged asphalt.
### District 49
**Fayette County**
– **SR-196**: Temporary lane closures with flagger operations daily from 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. for pavement repairs.
**Lauderdale County**
1. **US-51 (SR-3)**: Intersection improvement at Curve-Nankipoo Rd. will cause lane closures. Speed limit reduced to 55 MPH.
2. **US-51 (SR-3)**: Resurfacing work from Tipton County Line to SR-19 will cause lane closures. At least one lane will remain open.
3. **SR-19**: Resurfacing from US-51 to Near Eastland Avenue will cause lane closures.
**Shelby County**
1. **I-40**: Nightly lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for resurfacing between Wolf River and Sycamore View Road.
2. **SR-3**: Nightly lane closures from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for resurfacing from Babe Howard Blvd. to Tipton County Line.
3. **SR-14 (Austin Peay Highway)**: Widening work causing lane and shoulder closures.
4. **SR-385**: Lane closures from April 24 to May 1 for cable barrier rail installation.
5. **I-240**: Temporary lane closures at Exit 23 (Airways Blvd) until June 1, 2024, for safety improvements.
6. **SR-177 (Germantown Road)**: Nighttime lane closures for bridge repair over Wolf River.
7. **I-55/Crump**: Lane restrictions and detours starting September 29, 2022.
8. **SR-57 (Poplar Ave.)**: Nightly lane closures for resurfacing.
9. **SR-175 (Shelby Drive)**: Nightly lane closures for resurfacing and safety improvements.
10. **Shady Grove Rd. Bridge**: Bridge repairs over I-240 until August 30th.
11. **Various Routes**: Intermittent lane closures for curb ramp installation.

– **US-51 (SR-3)**: Temporary lane closures for safety improvements at Kenwood Avenue.
