Suspects Sought in Nashville Hotel Burglaries

Police seek Ronald Fillinger Jr. and his accomplice for a series of hotel room burglaries.

Central Precinct detectives are actively searching for Ronald Fillinger Jr., 53, and an unidentified accomplice. Both men are suspected of posing as hotel guests and breaking into rooms as part of a burglary scheme.

On May 5, victims reported the theft of several thousand dollars worth of belongings from their room at the Westin Hotel, located at 807 Clark Place. Fillinger and his accomplice were captured on surveillance footage during the burglary. Warrants for aggravated burglary and theft of property have been issued for Fillinger in connection with this incident.

Fillinger faces additional warrants for aggravated burglary in two separate cases. On March 26, he allegedly used an employee’s key card to access a room at the Courtyard by Marriott on West End Avenue, stealing nearly $1,000 worth of items. Among the recovered items was luggage containing Fillinger’s Davidson County Sheriff’s Office-issued prisoner ID card.

On March 20, Fillinger reportedly stole multiple items from a room at the Wyndham Hotel on McGavock Pike. Many of these belongings were found in the luggage left behind at the Courtyard by Marriott.

Fillinger was last arrested on January 31 after being found sleeping in an unoccupied room at the SoBro Apartments and Homesharing on Lea Avenue.

Anyone with information on Fillinger’s whereabouts or the identity of his accomplice is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
