Diskin Cider, Nashville’s pioneering craft cidery, is marking its six-year anniversary with a grand, Las Vegas-themed celebration set for May 17th and 18th in the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood. The event promises a mix of adult-only and family-friendly entertainment, encapsulating the spirit of Las Vegas.
The festivities kick off on Friday, May 17th, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, transforming the cidery into “Viva Las Diskin,” an 18+ casino club atmosphere. Attendees will be treated to flash tattoos by Sage and Serpent, live DJ sets, classic casino table games, and performances by an aerialist. Additionally, guests can capture memories with an Elvis Presley impersonator and a showgirl. Throughout the evening, food trucks will be on-site, and special cocktail offerings will be available.

Continuing the celebration, Saturday, May 18th, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, offers a Vegas strip experience suitable for all ages. The day’s activities include the return of Sage and Serpent for flash tattoos, more live DJ music, and performances by Elvis Presley impersonators and aerialists. Families can enjoy face painting, circus acts, and a wedding chapel photo booth. Special souvenir yardstick slushies will be on offer, along with food trucks and cocktail specials.
Diskin Cider will feature two cider bars during the event where guests can sample the cidery’s flagship, seasonal, and draft-only ciders. On Saturday, six slushie machines will provide both alcoholic and non-alcoholic slushies in yard cups. An exclusive small-batch cider will be available for VIP ticket holders, who will also enjoy additional perks like drink tickets, a limited edition anniversary t-shirt, a Diskin Cider-themed deck of playing cards, and access to a VIP lounge area.
