Violent Crimes detectives in Nashville apprehended a suspect driving a 2017 Dodge Charger that had been taken during a carjacking. The vehicle was followed to a convenience store at 4199 Nolensville Pike, where the driver, Kelvin Ramirez, 22, attempted to flee on foot but was quickly captured.
Recovered from the vehicle were a pistol, a ski mask, cocaine, marijuana, and $1,930 in cash. During questioning, Ramirez admitted to involvement in drug sales. He is facing charges that include vehicle theft, evading arrest, unlawful weapon possession, possessing a firearm during a felony, and felony possession of cocaine and marijuana.

Nashville Man Indicted for Bank Robbery
Jeremy Stacey Godwin, 44, of Nashville, Tennessee, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on one count of bank robbery for allegedly robbing a Truist Bank on April 9, 2024. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in federal prison.
