Special Victims detectives have issued arrest warrants against Daniel Revette, 39, for the sexual assault of a woman on May 11 outside Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s East parking garage at 1215 21st Avenue South.

Collaboration between detectives and scientists at the MNPD crime laboratory identified Revette as the suspect. Revette has a criminal history, including a 2007 conviction for attempted rape, resulting in a six-year sentence and lifetime community supervision by the Tennessee Department of Correction. In 2021, he was convicted of aggravated assault and received another six-year sentence. Additionally, Revette has multiple convictions for violating Tennessee’s sex offender registry law.
