Adventure Science Center Unveils Fossil Frontiers Exhibit

Adventure Science Center plans Fossil Frontiers exhibit featuring important fossil discoveries.

Nashville, TN, May 21 – Adventure Science Center is set to launch a new exhibit called Fossil Frontiers this summer. The exhibit will showcase significant fossil discoveries from Tennessee and the Southern United States, providing educational experiences for visitors of all ages.

Fossil Frontiers will feature dinosaur skeletons, fossil displays, and interactive activities focused on paleontology. Highlights include a Deinonychus, a species that lived during the Cretaceous Period and could grow up to 11 feet long. The exhibit will also present information about the Edmontosaurus, the only land dinosaur fossil found in Tennessee.

The new exhibit will be located on the first floor near the Sudekum Planetarium, and construction is already underway. Fossil Frontiers will also serve as a premier rental space for corporate events and private gatherings.

Adventure Science Center, located at 800 Fort Negley Blvd. in Nashville, has been offering engaging science experiences for over 75 years. The center provides hands-on exhibits, innovative programs, and full-dome productions in the Sudekum Planetarium. Each year, the center offers reduced or free admission to over 20,000 guests, including teachers and MNPS students.
