Smart Factory Institute to Host Critical Networks in Manufacturing Forum

The Smart Factory Institute will hold a forum on May 2, 2024, to discuss cybersecurity and intelligent wireless infrastructure in manufacturing.

The Smart Factory Institute, operated by Peak Performance, will hold the Critical Networks in Manufacturing Forum on May 2, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., located at the PIE Innovation Center in Cleveland, Tennessee. This forum aims to help manufacturers learn about how intelligent wireless infrastructure can accelerate manufacturing operations and improve security, reliability, scalability, and integration.

Panelists Andy Davies, Sr. Vice President of IT for Mueller Water Products, and Bill Pickel, Senior Security Engineer at Kenco, will speak from their experience addressing cybersecurity risks and breaches within their companies. Danna Bailey from Qubitekk in Chattanooga, TN, will talk about Quantum Technology and its uses in manufacturing in a presentation geared for non-scientists. The event will conclude with a tour of the PIE Innovation Center.
