Police Seek Help Identifying Fatal Hit-and-Run Driver

Nashville police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run on Gallatin Pike.

MNPD Crash Investigators are working to identify the hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a pedestrian crossing Gallatin Pike near Marion Avenue on Sunday at 1:30 a.m.

According to the preliminary investigation, 20-year-old Chazan Page of Nashville was crossing Gallatin Pike when he was hit by a red sedan or possibly a small SUV traveling north on Gallatin Pike at a high rate of speed. The vehicle is expected to have significant front-end damage. Page was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the hit-and-run driver or the red vehicle to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
