Kim Fann has been named the STARS Award recipient for February 2024 in recognition of her exceptional service at the Murfreesboro Municipal Airport. Several nominations highlighted Kim’s outstanding representation of the City of Murfreesboro and her dedication to providing excellent service to all who visit the airport.
As a volunteer at the airport noted, Kim’s knowledge and expertise make her the go-to person for information, enabling volunteers to quickly serve those seeking assistance. She has also established the Airport Navigator program, which allows retirees to become involved in the community by assisting local and non-local customers in using the airport facilities and connecting with airport personnel.
Kim’s warm and caring personality is evident in her interactions with everyone she encounters. She consistently ensures that all visitors are greeted with a smile and enthusiasm. Additionally, Kim goes above and beyond by making birthday cakes for attendees of Donut Day at the airport, further demonstrating her commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere.
In her role managing various accounts, leases, and daily transactions, Kim has established an excellent rapport with all based customers, maintaining a high level of trust. Her energy and positive attitude reflect on the entire staff and those she works with, making her an invaluable member of the team.
