Graceland has released the schedule for Elvis Week 2024, a nine-day event celebrating the life, music, and legacy of Elvis Presley, which will take place from August 9-17. The annual celebration, marking the 47th anniversary of Elvis’ passing, attracts thousands of fans from around the world to Memphis, Tennessee.
Elvis Week 2024 will feature a variety of events, including live performances, panels, contests, movie screenings, and the iconic Candlelight Vigil. Highlights of the week include Elvis: Return to Vegas on August 16, Elvis: Back in Memphis Concert on August 13, Elvis Fan Choice Awards on August 14, and Conversations on Elvis on August 15.

The cornerstone event, the annual Candlelight Vigil, will be held on August 15 at Graceland’s front gate, with fans gathering on Elvis Presley Boulevard to remember the legendary singer. The ceremony will also be streamed live online for fans unable to attend in person.
Confirmed guests for Elvis Week include Jerry Schilling, Linda Thompson, Sam Thompson, Shirley Dieu, Jerome Stump Monroe, Larry Geller, Larry Strickland, Gene Chrisman, and Terry Blackwood, among others. The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest will showcase the world’s best Elvis tribute artists, with the Semifinal on August 10 and the Final Round on August 12.
Additional events include a Fan Celebration, Brunch and a Movie, Elvis: Behind on the Music, 50s Flashback Party, after-parties, and meet ‘n’ greets.
