Detectives Seek Suspect in Nashville Walk of Fame Park Stabbing

Jerald Sanford is wanted for stabbing a man in the neck on March 31.

Central Precinct detectives in Nashville are working to locate Jerald Marquese Sanford, 33, accused of stabbing another man on March 31 in Walk of Fame Park. The male victim told police that Sanford approached him and aggressively asked for money before walking away.

Sanford then allegedly returned with a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was treated for a severe laceration.

An attempted criminal homicide warrant has been obtained against Sanford. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
