Corky’s Food Manufacturing, LLC announced today it will expand its manufacturing operations at its Memphis facility located at 3006 Fleetbrook Drive. The company plans to invest $4 million and create 28 new jobs to support the addition of a second shift and increased production space.
The expansion project includes the installation of a new freezer, smokers, automation equipment, and expanded processing and packing rooms. These upgrades will allow Corky’s to maintain its competitive edge and capitalize on existing market opportunities.
Corky’s Food Manufacturing, LLC produces and distributes retail food products for Corky’s BBQ, a prominent restaurant chain with eight locations across Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Since 2020, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) has supported nearly 50 economic development projects in Shelby County, resulting in approximately 5,300 job commitments and $1.1 billion in capital investment.
Governor Bill Lee expressed his gratitude to Corky’s for its commitment to Tennessee values and creating new jobs in Shelby County. TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter highlighted the expansion as a testament to Corky’s dedication to Tennessee and the state’s position as a premier destination for thriving businesses.

He emphasized Corky’s commitment to delivering authentic, hickory-smoked barbecue to customers everywhere through various channels, including grocery chains, food service, and direct-to-consumer partners.
