The city is offering a subsidized rain barrel workshop for residents within city limits on Thursday, May 2 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The workshop, limited to 25 people, will cover the benefits of rain barrels, stream gardening tips, GIS maps, and information about the city’s stormwater programs, goals, and major projects. Attendees will also enjoy a box lunch from Panera Bread. The workshop alone costs $10, while the workshop plus one rain barrel is priced at $60.
