Chris Young to Headline Nashville’s Let Freedom Sing! Celebration

Nashville's Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th event will feature Chris Young and other artists.

Music City July 4th presented by Dr Pepper announced that multi-platinum global entertainer Chris Young will headline this year’s event in downtown Nashville. The celebration will include one of the country’s largest July 4th fireworks shows, featuring drone light elements synchronized to live music from the GRAMMY-winning Nashville Symphony. The event is free and open to the public.

Joining Chris Young on the Jack Daniel’s Broadway Stage will be a diverse lineup including Yola, a six-time GRAMMY-nominated artist; Girl Named Tom, sibling trio and winners of NBC’s The Voice in 2021; and Blessing Offor, a two-time GRAMMY Award nominee and GMA Dove Award winner.

Let Freedom Sing! is partnering with PENCIL (Public Education Needs Community Involvement & Leadership) to raise funds and collect school supplies for Metro Nashville Public Schools. Event sponsors Simply Done and Dr Pepper will donate essential school supplies and backpacks to benefit 500 Metro Nashville students. Attendees are encouraged to make a contribution to PENCIL.

The Amazon Family Fun Zone at Music City Walk of Fame Park will offer family-friendly activities during the day before the evening concert at the Jack Daniel’s Broadway Stage. After the concert, the event will move to Ascend Amphitheater for the live performance by the Nashville Symphony and the fireworks and drone show.

An Exclusive Fireworks Viewing Experience is available, offering premium viewing seating areas overlooking the Cumberland River. Tickets and hotel packages go on sale May 7 at <a href="http://www.visitmusiccity.com/july4th”>visitmusiccity.com/july4th.
