Youth Services detectives are urgently requesting the help of the Nashville community following a distressing incident in Seven Oaks Park, where a 15-year-old boy was sexually assaulted. The attack occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. last Thursday, off McGavock Pike in the South Nashville area.
According to the victim, he had ventured to the park from his home nearby and was only there for about 15 minutes before being accosted by an unidentified male. The assailant forcefully grabbed the teen by the arm, dragged him into a secluded, wooded section of the park, and committed the assault. The attacker then fled the scene when he realized other individuals were nearby.
The suspect is currently described by police as a white male, around 50 years of age, with notable features including freckles and crooked teeth. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black zip-up jacket (without a hood), blue shorts, a gray shirt, and gray and white tennis shoes. Additionally, the man was seen leaving the area in a 2000s model Honda Civic sedan, driving in the direction of Knight Drive. Police across the city are on high alert and are actively searching for the vehicle.
