Central Precinct detectives are intensively working to identify an individual involved in multiple shoplifting incidents at a Publix store located at 1010 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Nashville. The suspect is accused of repeatedly shoplifting on several dates including February 19, February 26, March 3, March 4, March 14, and March 18. The incidents occurred at various times, ranging from early morning to late afternoon.
According to the detectives, the suspect approaches the store on foot, then proceeds to place items inside a large backpack. Following this, he exits the store without making any payment for the merchandise. The suspect is described as a black male with long dreadlocks, approximately 5’10” tall and of a thin build.
The Nashville Police Department has released a photograph of the suspect, appealing to the public for assistance in identifying him. Anyone who recognizes the individual from the photograph is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
