The Premier League, in partnership with NBC Sports, is set to bring an exciting live music event to soccer fans in Nashville, Tennessee. Scheduled for Friday, April 5, the event precedes the Mornings Live Fan Fest, which will take place over the weekend of April 6-7 on Broadway. This musical gathering, titled Premier League Weekend Warm Up with Whiskey Jam, will feature eight music artists performing at the SkyDeck, Nashville’s largest and highest rooftop bar located on Broadway. The doors for this free show will open at 6pm, with performances beginning at 7:15pm.
This marks the first live music event organized by the Premier League, aiming to provide soccer enthusiasts with an unforgettable experience before the weekend’s Fan Festival. The event will be hosted by Whiskey Jam Founder Ward Guenther, representing the first Friday evening event in the organization’s 13-year history. The lineup includes a diverse array of American, British, and Australian artists, including Lucie Silvas, Bizzy, Sam Palladio, Alex Lambert, Ruthie Collins, Seaforth, Jordan Harvey, and Nightly. NBC Sports presenter and country music fan Rebecca Lowe will welcome guests to the event.
Will Brass, Premier League Chief Commercial Officer, expressed his excitement about this new venture, stating, “The Weekend Warm Up is the newest way the Premier League is engaging with fans in the US.” He emphasized the significance of bringing together the worlds of soccer and music ahead of the weekend’s matches.
The Premier League Mornings Live fan festival, supported by the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp, will feature live Premier League fixtures presented across various NBC platforms. Host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe, and Tim Howard will broadcast the event live, starting at 7 a.m. ET on both Saturday and Sunday.
