Manhunt Underway for Murfreesboro Bank Robber

Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is on high alert as local police, with assistance from the FBI, are on the hunt for a man who robbed the CB&S Bank on S. Church Street early Friday morning. According to reports, the robbery occurred approximately at 9:56 a.m. when an armed suspect, wielding a revolver, entered the bank demanding money from the tellers.

Witnesses describe the suspect as wearing a green hoodie, black ski mask, gloves, and a white surgical mask, effectively concealing his identity. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber left the premises on foot, evading immediate capture.

In an effort to track down the suspect, a K9 unit was promptly dispatched to the scene. However, efforts to trace the robber were hampered by adverse weather conditions, rendering the search unsuccessful.

The Murfreesboro Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, together with the FBI, is actively investigating the incident. They are calling on the public to come forward with any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect.
