In a tragic incident early this morning, 32-year-old Samuel L. Edwards Jr. was fatally shot at an apartment complex on Buena Vista Pike. According to the Homicide Unit detectives of the local police department, Edwards was visiting an acquaintance when an assailant, for reasons yet to be determined, followed him into the apartment and fired a single, fatal shot.
